Expectations:
- The Church Planter will plant one church at a time, working under the authority and protection of the Elders and within the context of New Life's Purpose, Principles, and Practices of developing a new site within the multiple-site church model. The goal is to work in one location at a time, growing the congregation of 80 - 100 members and develop a strong sense of unity within the church body and with other sites. Ideally, once a viable church site is established, a pastor / teacher would succeed the Church Planter and the church would grow as the Lord leads.
- A high percentage of the Church Planter's time will be to develop relationships in the community and an understanding of local culture to reach the lost, patterned after biblical model illustrated by the Apostle Paul. The focus will be on evangelism, adding to the church membership with the majority coming via salvation and those new to the area.
- An important aspect of the planter's initial involvement will be to develop a complete understanding and embrace New Life Authentic Community's Purpose, Principles, and Practices… understanding the DNA of NLACC
- The Church Planter would be given a sabbatical rest (month?) for training and recuperation before beginning to build the next church site.
